24 Weeks!

24 weeks has been the milestone I've been focusing on since hitting the 2nd trimester because it marks Viability (50% chance of survival). From here on out, I'm just imagining her baking - she's all ready to go, she just needs to get bigger and stronger. Woot!

•How far along?•
24 weeks

•Total weight gain/loss•
No clue. My weight fluxuates like plus or minus 5 pounds on any given day. It's crazy.

•Maternity clothes?•
I love them, but I'm getting annoyed with having to yank up my pants everytime I stand. I knew I should have gotten a smaller size.

•Sleep•
Sleeping on my side sucks. Sometimes I wake up and I'm practically sleeping on my back because my hips and shoulder are SO tired of being laid on.

•Best moment this week•
I woke up in a bad mood the other day (You would too if your alarm went off at 5am.) but that quickly changed when I was laying there trying to figure out if I could afford to hit the snooze button when she got the hiccups and was practically bounding my belly off the mattress. SO funny.

•Movement•
She's been kicking like CRAZY lately, but Chris hasn't felt her since that night in Butte a few weeks ago. Everytime she's kicking at night, I grab his hand and position it where she's kicking. The next ten minutes are spent like this:
wait... wait... wait.
(Me) Did you feel that?
(Chris) Nope.
Wait... wait... wait...
REPEAT.

Annoying.

•Food cravings•
I'm not craving anything. I just want food.

•Gender•
Team Pink.

•Labor Signs•
No.

•Belly Button in or out?•
Shallower by the day.

•What I miss•
Sushi. I really miss sushi. Granted, I could eat most of the rolls they serve at our favorite restaurant, but Chris recently discovered the fresh fish counter at the grocery store and I've been eating my fair share of fish, so I think going out for sushi would be pushing it.

•What I am looking forward to•
Having a finished nursery. This week, the vision came together and I know what I want to do, we just need to get busy putting everything together.

•Weekly Wisdom•
We bought baby chickens last weekend. I'm slowly starting to realize that Chris REALLY wants to be a farmer, but has none of the basic training. He made an outdoor chicken run for them and then took the baby chicks out from under the heat lamp to let them play. Silly Boy. He also asked when we could start collecting eggs. He needs to be patient. :)

•Milestones•
Viability! woot.

  2. I am really enjoying the theme/design of your blog.
Do you ever run into any browser compatibility problems?
A number of my blog readers have complained about my site not
working correctly in Explorer but looks great in Chrome.
Do you have any ideas to help fix this issue?
