Sneak Peek! Julep's April Vivid Polish Colors

Julep's April collection - called The Vivid Collectionis so bright and sunny that I can't wait to wear it with summery tanks and sundresses.

If you're unfamiliar with Julep, let me take a minute to explain.
Julep started as a nail parlor. Then they created their own line of products - polishes, spa products and beauty items. They are sold online, but for the best deal you should become a Maven. Mavens are subscribed to their monthly box of products that are curated for your personal style. When I took my style quiz it was determined that I'm 'Classic with a Twist'. Each month on the 20th I'm able to look at that month's collection and view the products picked for me. The best part? If I don't like that month's selections I have choices! I can switch my box for a different style's, I can gift my box to a friend by providing her mailing address, or I can skip that month's box.

Mariska - The tangerine is a bit outside my normal color palette, but I think it'll be a nice pedicure color, and Hannah will love it too.
Peach Bellini Blush - I'm looking forward to trying the light peach color.
I just wish I could have picked from the bronzers instead.

Mother Daughter Spa Day - Video, Giveaway, and Bloopers

The first half of my pregnancy with Hannah I was convinced she was a boy.  We had a name picked out, a nautical bedding set was selected because it had just the right amount of whimsy, and I began to imagine life with my son.

Imagine my surprise when our big ultrasound revealed that everyone else was right - we were having a little girl!  Those first few days I was shocked and began looking at my future as a mom a little differently.  Maybe I’d still be watching my child play soccer on Saturdays, but I also started daydreaming about girly things that could now happen - soft pink bedroom walls, shopping for dresses, and maybe one day our first Mother Daughter Spa Day.   Mother Daughter Anything was now a reality, and I couldn’t wait to meet her.

Fast forward to tonight.

Hannah had some quality Father Daughter time earlier this week, so I carved out a special moment after William went to sleep:
Mommy and Me Manis & Pedis

Hannah asks all the time for her nails to be painted, but I’ve never taken the time to make a big TaDo about it before, so she felt really pampered tonight.
I soaked her hands and feet in warm water with a little bath salts sprinkled in, trimmed her nails, and let her pick out her paint colors from our collection of Piggy Paint.  I feel comfortable picking Piggy Paint because it’s as “natural as mud” and is non-toxic, low odor, and kid friendly.
Later she admitted that the highlight of the evening for her was when she got to paint MY nails for the first time.  She did a great job!

All of the fun colors are available on the Piggy Paint website
but Walmart is also carrying the polish now.
